Privacy Policy

1. General Notes and Required Information

The protection of your personal data is an important concern to us. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations (GDPR, BDSG, TDDDG) as well as this Privacy Policy.

Using our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Since our website does not feature any registration function, public login, or direct end-consumer solutions, we do not collect any identification data (such as names or email addresses) by default.

2. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

salesdoc Fiedler & Fiedler GbR
Talblick 28

Email: info@salesdoc.de
Phone: +49 (0)172 96 13 773

3. Data Collection on Our Website (Proprietary Reach Measurement)

When you access our website, our web server automatically collects statistical data about the visits. We do not use any third-party tracking services (such as Google Analytics, Facebook or LinkedIn pixels) and we do not use cookies that require consent.

To optimize our service and prevent automated access (bots), we use a self-developed, locally hosted analytics module. The following data is processed:

  • Page accessed / Name of the accessed file
  • Date and time of access
  • Browser type and version used (User-Agent)
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page, if your browser transmits it)
  • Detection of search engine bots and AI crawlers
  • Roughly localized geographical origin (country, region, city), determined via a purely locally installed GeoIP database.

IP Address Processing: Your IP address is analyzed to determine the geographical region. Immediately afterward, the IP address is rendered unrecognizable using a cryptographic one-way process (hashing) and stored in a shortened, pseudonymous form. The unshortened, real IP address is never stored in our database at any time. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about your identity or to merge this with other data sources.

Legal Basis: Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Legitimate Interest). Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring the IT security of the systems, defending against malware/bots, and the purely statistical analysis of the reach of our website without any personal reference.

4. Storage Duration

The pseudonymized statistical data remains in our database until the purpose for the data analysis ceases to apply or you request its deletion, provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

5. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient, and the purpose of the data processing, as well as a right to correct, block, or delete this data.

Notice on Enforcement: Since we do not store your IP address in plain text and have no other identifiers, we cannot generally assign statistical datasets to a specific person. The exercise of rights to information or deletion therefore requires that you provide us with data that enables an assignment (Art. 11 (2) GDPR).

For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of data protection, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the "Controller" section.

6. Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work, or the place of the alleged violation.
